Goals from Lewis Grabban, Marc Laird and Dave Martin sealed a 3-0 win over Port Vale on Saturday and Jackett will be looking to build on that success as The Lions try to haul themselves away from the relegation zone.
"The nature of our performance on Saturday bodes well for the future," said Jackett. "It helped that we got a reasonably early goal against Port Vale, and we produced some good constructive football.
"But what matters now is Luton tonight. We want to build on Saturday's result and are all really looking forward to facing Luton.
"We haven't had too much time to prepare for it because games are coming thick and fast at the moment, but we will be doing our utmost to carry on the good work from Saturday."
