Jackett needs to fill a gap in his forward line after Theo Robinson made a shock loan move to Derby this week, barely a month after joining the Lions on a permanent deal from Huddersfield.
"I am always looking to improve the squad and looking to strengthen," admitted Jackett.
Lions stalwart Neil Harris staked his claim to fill the void with another goal in Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat by Reading.
"Neil's goal was very welcome," added Jackett.
