Ken Brown bids farewell

Millwall Football Club have announced the departure of Chief Executive Ken Brown, who will be leaving in the summer.

The Everton-supporting Brown, who was an unpopular figure at The Den, was brought in by former Chairman Theo Paphitis over four years ago to deal with the day-to-day handling of the club but he quickly fell foul of several supporters groups after the number of expulsions from the ground began to rise. The guilty until proven innocent approach employed by the club proved to be a disaster after several life-long fans were banned for trivial offences and/or cases of mistake identity.

"Ken has seen the Club through difficult times and I wish him well in his future career," Heather Rabbatts told the club's official site, but its a sentiment not shared by many regulars at Zampa Road.
