Lacey increases holding

Millwall board member Graham Ferguson Lacey has increased his shareholding in the PLC to 27.18%, it was announced today.

The Isle of Man-based property tycoon, who joined the board earlier this year after a brief power struggle with chairman John Berylson paid £900,000 in exchange for a further 3,000,000,000 ordinary shares, although its unlikely that the money will go towards strengthening the team.

A statement to the Stock Exchange from Millwall Holdings plc confirmed Mr. Lacey's investmet: "Mr Ferguson Lacey is now interested in 7,630,000,000 ordinary shares representing 27.18% of the company's voting share capital."
