Lee: Trouble attracting players
He's only been in the job for a week but Lions boss Colin Lee is already experiencing the same problems faced by his predecessors in trying to attract new players to the club.

Lee has been trying to reinforce a squad weakened by the summer departures of several key players and already this week two possible additions to the squad, including former Sunderland midfielder John Oster, rejected his advances.

Lee is particularly disappointed over the change of heart of an as yet unamed player, thought to be Stoke City's Gerry Taggart.

"I spoke to an experienced player on Saturday," revealed Lee, "who was to be a vital part of my plans, and he gave me his word he was coming to Millwall

"The contract was agreed, and we were going to meet on Tuesday night to finalise the deal.

"But then I had a phone call saying that the player had decided to stay with his current club," he told the club's official website.
