Championship outfit Leeds United finally completed the signing of Millwall captain David Livermore in a deal believed to be worth around £400,000.

The fee was agreed between the two clubs last weekendbut the player had to undergo a series of medical tests after a similar move to Southampton fell through last year after question marks were raised about one of his knees.

Livers, who joined the club from Arsenal in 1999, made his mark on the record books by scoring the last ever League goal of the 20th Century in a game against Brentford. However, the midfielder has been keen on a move away from the club since being booed by fans when collecting his Player of the Year trophy at the end of last season.
