Millwall have made an offer to Leyton Orient for defender Tamika Mkandawire as they look to replace transfer-listed Zak Whitbread.

The 26-year-old has been a target for both Swansea City and Watford over the summer but Lions boss Kenny Jackett has identified the man to replace the soon-to-be-departing Whitbread.

The Malawi-born defender has made 71 appearances for The O's, scoring eight times.
