The 31-year-old striker, who turned down The Lions when Mark McGhee was in charge in 2002 in favour of a move to Sheffield Wednesday, has yet to receive an offer of a new contract from The Glovers and could be tempted by a move back to London, should the rumours turn out to be true.
However Millwall boss Kenny Jackett ruled out the possibility of any more immediate signings after capturing goalkeeper David Forde from Cardiff City last week.
