Spackman: First game in charge
Millwall opened their two-match Icelandic tour with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Throttur as manager Nigel Spackman fielded two different sides in each half.

With The Lions still rusty after the summer break, the Icelandics were easily the more convincing of the two sides and it came as little surprise when Yugoslav Sinisa Keckic opened the scoring in the first half.

Magnus Ludvigsson added a second in the 71st minute to wrap up the victory for Throttur, who are mid-way through their league season.

Eslewhere, a Millwall XI comprising of youth and reserve team players drew 1-1 with Margate, Midfielder Will Hendry getting The Lions' goal.

Millwall first half:
Pidgeley, Lawrence, Shaw, Robinson, Craig, McInnes, Elliott, Dunne, Morais, Byfield, Brighton.

Millwall second half: Day, Cottrell, Phillips, Pooley, Whitbread, Cogan, Bostwick, Livermore, Grant, Hayles, Williams.
