Lions made to sweat

Millwall were held to a 1-1 draw in their opening pre-season friendly at Crawley Town. The home side took an early lead when Alan Quinn forced his way through a melee of players to fire home after collecting Steve Masterton's cross. Lions manager Kenny Jackett played all 23 players in his first-team squad, but although they created several chances, the visitors had to wait until the 66th minute before finding an equaliser. Lewis Grabban crossed from the right and Gary Alexander forced the ball home at the second attempt from close range.
