Lions set to appeal Robbo Red card

Millwall have confirmed that manager Kenny Jackett will appeal the red card shown to Lions captain Paul Robinson during Saturday's 4-3 defeat at Oldham.

Jackett's men had been leading 3-1 when Robinson was dismissed for pulling back The Latics' Lee Hughes inside the penalty and referee Nigel Miller's decision to award a spot kick and send Robbo off changed the face of the game.

Video replays suggest there was little - if any contact - with Hughes, who went down like a sack of spuds, and the manager is set to appeal in the hope that his Captain will at least escape suspension.
