Oh Canada...
Millwall midfielders Josh Simpson and Adrian Serioux were in the thick of things in Belfast tonight as Canada beat Northern Ireland 1-0 in an international friendly.

Both players started the game that saw the Canadians reduced to ten men after just 22 minutes when defender Gabriel Gervais was sent off for two bookable offences in the space of 120 seconds. Simpson, winning his seventh international cap, played the full 90-minutes while Serioux, who was making his third appearance, made way for former Lions target Jaime Peters five minutes from time.

Frank Yallop's side secured victory with a well taken goal from Olivier Occean just after the half-an-hour mark before settling on a rear-guard action during the second forty-five.
