Kenny Jackett hopes to solve his midfielder crisis this afternoon by signing Reading midfielder Jem Karacan on an emergency loan.

The 19-year-old trained with The Lions this morning with a view to joining Millwall while midfielders Alan Dunne, Dave Brammer and Adrian Forbes recover from injury. And with youngster Marc Laird now suspended for three games, Karacan could solve Jackett's selection headache ahead of this weekend's games against Oldham Athletic and Luton Town.

The Turkish Youth international has yet to make his debut for The Royals but turned out for Bournemouth earlier this season, ironically making his league debut against The Lions, and scored once in thirteen appearances.
