Lions wait on Ifill

Lions boss Dennis Wise may wait until the last possible moment before deciding on whether or not to risk winger Paul Ifill for tomorrow's clash against Sunderland.

Ifill still hasn't fully recovered from the Achilles injury that kept him out of the Millwall side for six weeks and returned to first team action sooner than planned.

However, with Peter Sweeney still out after sustaining a foot injury in the UEFA Cup defeat against Ferencvaros, the Lions find their attacking options on the wings limited and may risk Ifill with the help of a pain-killing injection.

Elsewhere, striker Barry Hayles may return after breaking a rib on his debut and Wise is available again after serving a suspension but Adrian Serioux is likely to miss the clash after receiving a dead leg playing for the reserves.
