Lions wait on Smith

Derby County have today confirmed that they have accepted a bid of around £150,000 for winger Ryan Smith, who had a brief but successful loan spell at The Den towards the backend of last season.

Donachie moved for the former Arsenal trainee - who is keen to return to London - after getting the necessary funds by selling defender Tony Craig to Crystal Palace earlier in the week.

But things are never simple at The Den with London rivals Queens Park Rangers also submitting a bid for the player.

Millwall are the favourites to land the player, however, with manager Willie Donachie already in contract talks with Smith.
