Livermore: Outspoken attack
Millwall captain David Livermore has launched an outspoken attack at those who run the club after The Lions slumped to their their 20th defeat of the campaign away to Derby County on Saturday.

Livermore, who is hot favourite to land this season's Player of the Year award, cannot believe that the club has been allowed to implode so readily just two years after playing Manchester United in the FA Cup Final.

"It's amazing how far this club has gone downhill over the past 14 months," he told The Mirror.

"There are a lot of people who have got to answer a lot of questions, at boardroom level. They are hiding now though.

"We've gone from playing in the FA Cup Final and then the UEFA Cup to the prospect of playing in League One in less than two years. It has been a disaster.

"There has been no guidance from anywhere, nobody has made decisions, and it has been a slippery slope all the way."
