Ben May will be staying at Brentford for a further month's loan after impressing Bees' manager Wally Downes.

May, 19, has spent the last four weeks at Griffin Park and scored on his debut for the west London club.

Elsewhere, non-league Farnborough Town have made two attempts to get defender Mark Phillips on a temporary contract and have also expressed an interest in Welsh u-21 centre half Matt Rees.

Finally, Millwall's 19-year-old goalkeeper Dave McCartney has today joined Ryman League outfit Egham Town on a month's loan in a bid to gain some valuable senior experience.
