The popular frontmad needed a routine x-ray after he was knocked out following a clash of heads with Town defender Drissa Diallo, who also left the field to have stitches and was unable continue.
Lions assistant boss Ray Wilkins explained: "Mark suffered concussion and has been told to rest for seven days, which obviously rules him out of Tuesday night's game. He's gone for an x-ray to check that everything else is ok."
