Millwall striker Mark McCammon has revealed that he wants to move to Brighton & Hove Albion on a full-time basis after falling down the pecking order at The Den.

The big target man, who was originally signed by Mark McGhee at the tail-end of the 2002/03 season, joined the Sussex club on loan last week after failing to hold down a first team place with The Lions. But he has no regrets about the move.

"I am not bothered about being in a team near the bottom of the table," said McCammon.

"I want to play regular football, I enjoy working with Mark McGhee, and I think Brighton are a half-decent team. There are players here with good potential."

Having impressed on his debut, he now wants to make the move permanent and seems intent on burning his bridges by attacking the tactics of Millwall boss Dennis Wise.

"When I was left out of the Millwall team, Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins told me I needed to get into better positions and to work harder.

"But that was rubbish, because the ball was never coming to me. I much prefer the way we play at Brighton, where the ball comes forward quickly."

"Mark McGhee brought the best out of me at Millwall, and I like playing for him. But I don't know the financial situation at Brighton, or whether Millwall will demand a fee for me."
