The 25-year-old is set to sign from Canadian outfit Toronto Lynx after impressing manager Dennis Wise during The Lions' pre-season tour of British Columbia.
Serioux, who can play in either defence or midfield, will miss tomorrow's clash against Wigan Athletic, however, as International clearance will not be received in time for the player to be involved.
