Millwall manager Dennis Wise is today counting the cost of captain Kevin Muscat's penalty miss.

The Lions' boss let Muzzy take the 75th minute penalty and saw the defender's weak effort saved by Tranmere goalkeeper John Achterberg, sending the tie to a replay and denying the Londoners a spot in the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in 67 years.

"Dennis is disgusted with himself that he didn't take it", revealed Assistant Manager Ray Wilkins. "But Muscat was so confident that he over-ruled his manager!"

Muzzy had the courage to go up and get hold of the ball and that what you want from players."

Millwall are now looking at the prospect of a trip to Prenton Park on Tuesday 16th March, a ground that they have never won at.

"Because we're a First Division side we became favourites for this tie and we'll look forward to it" explained Wilkins. "Tranmere have had some wonderful nights at Prenton Park. Let's hope they don't have another one."

"We've got a group of lads who are used to rolling their sleeves up and need no incentive to reach the semi-finals."
