Wise man returns
Millwall boss Colin Lee believes the return of Dennis Wise could spur The Lions onto their first home victory in the league this season.

Speaking to the club's official site, Lee was quick to point out the former manager's qualities that could so influential in tomorrow's Championship clash. "When Dennis left Millwall, the club lost not only a good manager but a very good player as well.

"He is vastly experienced and has a knack of influencing games, but in a way, if he plays, I'm hoping that it will act as a spur to our players.

"Hopefully Dennis will get a nice welcome from our crowd because he deserves it, but after that we'll just play our normal game.

"If Dennis has to be tackled we'll tackle him, if we need to run off him we'll do that. This is an important game for us and we have to just focus on getting the win we need which will hopefully move us off the bottom of the table."

However, injury may keep Wise out of the game but that hasn't stopped the man who lead The Lions to the 2004 FA Cup Final from looking forward to his return.

"I'm very much looking forward to the game against Millwall, and in particular to seeing all the people I never really had a chance to say goodbye to.

"It was a great experience managing Millwall and I hope that one day I will get another chance in management. I'm sure that I learned a lot from the experience which will stand me in good stead next time."
