Millwall V Barnsley at The Den - Match Preview

Moussi set for Lions bow

Millwall can add Guy Moussi to their squad for the visit of Barnsley.

Lions manager Steve Lomas has drafted in the Frenchman on loan from Nottingham Forest while letting fellow midfielder Josh Wright move to Leyton Orient on loan.

Lomas will check on striker Scott McDonald, who missed the 3-1 defeat at Bolton a fortnight ago after tweaking his hamstring in training.

Full-back Scott Malone is set to miss out again with a knee injury but centre-half Mark Beevers is fit after six weeks out with a knee problem.

Barnsley midfielder Jacob Mellis will return to contention following an ankle injury.

Mellis missed the goalless home draw against Doncaster before the international break, but is fit again and could go straight back into the starting line-up.

Luke Steele remains sidelined due to a back injury, so on-loan Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland will retain his place and defender Peter Ramage is still struggling with the thigh injury that has ruled him out of the last four matches.

Teenage midfielder Paul Digby could return to the substitutes' bench following his return from international duty with the England Under-19s squad.
