Millwall v Ipswich Town- Carling Cup Preview

Millwall will be without Kevin Lisbie and Theo Robinson for the Carling Cup clash with Ipswich. Lisbie is ineligible to face his parent club and fellow loan striker Robinson is cup-tied having already played in the competition for Huddersfield.

Their absence means boss Kenny Jackett has few options available should he want to make changes following Saturday's shock 6-1 home hammering by Watford.

Midfielder Jimmy Abdou suffered an slight ankle knock at the weekend and will be checked over. Darren Carter, Andrew Frampton (both ankle), Shaun Batt (knee) and John Marquis (wrist) are still in the treatment room.

Tamika Mkandawire and Chris Hackett are pushing for starting places after substitute appearances at the weekend.

Ipswich goalkeeper Brian Murphy will start. Murphy has started both of the cup games this season, against Exeter and Crewe, and will replace first-choice Martin Fulop for the trip.

Boss Roy Keane has admitted further changes will be made as he attempts to keep his squad fresh and that could mean starts for Mark Kennedy, Colin Healy and Tamas Priskin with Darren O'Dea, Jason Scotland and Connor Wickham possibly dropping to the bench.

Long-term absentees Luciano Civelli and Damien Delaney have featured for the reserves after overcoming a knee injury and a blood clot respectively and could make the bench but Shane O'Connor remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.
