Millwall V Leicester at The Den - Match Preview

Henderson hampered by hamstring ailment

Darius Henderson has been ruled out of Millwall's home game against Leicester.

The seven-goal striker was due to return from a hamstring injury at Ipswich last week, but suffered a setback in training and has been ruled out of Saturday's clash and the trip to Brighton on Tuesday night.

Midfielder Liam Trotter and winger James Henry were back in the side last weekend following spells out with hamstring problems and they should keep their places despite the 3-0 defeat which brought an end to Millwall's 13-game unbeaten run.

Skipper Paul Robinson remains on the sidelines as he continues his recovery from a pelvic problem.

Young striker John Marquis is the only other absentee following a groin operation.

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson will be without the services of striker Martyn Waghorn.

The 22-year-old had his appendix removed earlier this week but could return in time for next weekend's clash with Cardiff.

Fellow striker David Nugent has been passed fit to play despite suffering from a slipped disk in his neck.

Nugent missed the recent games against Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday but Pearson expects him to be available.

Centre-half Sean St Ledger remains absent with the hamstring problem that has now kept him on the sidelines for over two months.

The Foxes have won just one of their last three league games after a tough start to December but remain four points clear of the chasing pack in the play-off places.
