Duo added to Lions squad

Millwall can add DJ Campbell and Shaun Williams to their squad for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday.

New boss Ian Holloway has signed striker Campbell on loan from Blackburn and midfielder Williams from MK Dons for an undisclosed fee, and both could make their debuts against the Owls.

Holloway will check on goalkeeper David Forde, who injured his thigh against Ipswich last time out, with Stephen Bywater on standby.

Captain Paul Robinson has recovered from his thigh injury but he played for the under-21s on Monday to build up his fitness, while midfielder Richard Chaplow has a torn calf and striker Jermaine Easter completes a three-match ban.

Sheffield Wednesday defender Joe Mattock will miss out through suspension.

Mattock was shown two yellow cards in the weekend FA Cup win at Rochdale and serves a one-game ban so Jeremy Helan could step in at left-back, although Reda Johnson (hip flexor) could return to contention if he passes a late fitness test.

Chris Kirkland will return in goal in place of Damian Martinez, on loan from Arsenal, while winger Jermaine Johnson and midfielder Giles Coke are among those pushing for recalls.

The Owls are bidding to extend their unbeaten run to nine matches in all competitions.
