Reid: £200,000 bonus
Millwall received three financial boosts this week thanks to the performances of other clubs this season.

Having already received a windfall from Sheffield United's promotion thanks to a clause in Paul Ifill's contract, The Lions are due to receive similar payments from Crystal Palace and Blackburn Rovers after they reached the play-offs and the UEFA Cup respectively.

Palace have already agreed a payment of £150,000 as part of the sale of Darren Ward while the club can expect another £200,000 thanks to clause in Steven Reids contract following his sale three years ago. Ironically, it was Reid that scored the goal which insured Rover's top six finish and sparked the payment as they beat Champions Chelsea at Ewood Park last night.

The club can also expect a further £25,000 from Stoke City after Peter Sweeney made his 20th appearance for the club last month.
