Millwall winger Filipe Morais is expected to make a permanent move to Scotland today after being released by Lions boss Willie Donachie.

The former Chelsea winger, who failed to live up to expectations last season, is expected to sign a two-year deal with Hibernian after impressing Hibs boss John Collins during an earlier trial.

The former Portuguese Under-21 winger had become something of a fixture under Nigel Spackman but was quickly loaned out to St. Johnstone after Donachie took over when his performances dipped.

Speaking to the Edinburgh Evening News, he said: "I'm really excited at the prospect of playing for a club like Hibs. It's a great chance for me to prove myself."
