The 26-year-old player is accused of verbally abusing the ref after picking up a red card in injury time during Millwall's 0-0 draw with Cardiff City and had until 6pm yesterday evening to respond.
"Jody is very, very disappointed with his reaction" revealed manager Colin Lee after the charge was announced. "We will sit down with him to make some decision on the charge.
"Frustration sometimes comes out. We want our players to keep it under control but these things happen in the heat of the moment. The player regrets what he has done."
