Muscat out for two games

It has emerged that Lions skipper Kevin Muscat has been suspended for two games rather than one following his sending off against Norwich City at the Den.

Muscat picked up the extra ban due his sending off earlier in the season away to Watford. He will now miss the trip to Cardiff City on Saturday and the Boxing Day clash against his former club, Crystal Palace.

This will come as a further blow to manager Dennis Wise who is already without eleven first team players. To make matters worse, had Muscat been given a straight red card, the video evidence available suggested that it would have been over turned anyway, leaving Muscat free to play in both games.
