The Neil Harris Everyman Appeal has announced that the fund has raised nearly £60,000 since being set up two years ago.

The Fund was founded two years ago, following the diagnosis and successful treatment of Millwall striker Neil Harris, who discovered he had testicular cancer shortly after The Lions won the Second Division Championship in 2001. Its purpose is to fund research into and raise awareness of make cancers.

Millwall supporters and fans from rival clubs such as Charlton Athletic and Crystal Palace have found a host of ways to raise money for the Appeal, from sponsored events incuding marathons, football matches and swimathons, to the cartridge collections organised by Office Green.
