Ward, who has also been linked with Sheffield United in the past twenty-four hours, was said to have been on manager Nigel Worthington's shopping list in the summer, but the Canaries boss played down the speculation in this morning's Eastern Daily Press.
"As far as player identification for next season things are in place," said Worthington.
"But as for any agreement being sorted out with Millwall for Darren Ward there's absolutely no truth in that whatsoever. He's not on our list."
