Donachie: Feels let down by players
Millwall will spend another season in League One after they saw their slim play-off hopes go up in smoke with a 4-2 defeat away to Huddersfield Town yesterday afternoon.

And manager Willie Donachie was quick to criticise his squad for their attitude after Darren Byfield had given The Lions an early lead.

"The attitude and performance was not good enough. We scored an early goal and the players then thought they were going to win 1-0.

"There is a lesson to be learned. You have to keep working hard. But the players did not show the same level of pride and commitment that they have done in previous games.

"They let themselves down and they let down the 150 or so fans who have paid good money to come and watch them."
