After yesterday's flurry of rumours, it has now emerged that Millwall are interested in signing West Brom's Danielle Dichio.

Dichio, who once played under Ray Wilkins at Queen's Park Rangers, has just returned to The Hawthorns after a brief loan spell with Derby County. Baggies manager Gary Megson has told the striker he can leave the club if the price is right and has revealed that three unnamed clubs, including two in London, are interested in signing the centre forward.

Elsewhere, Millwall have announced that they have no plans to sign Raith Rovers striker John Sutton.

Ray Wilkins watched the 19-year-old net his eighth goal of the season against Falkirk on Friday night, but a Millwall spokesman told a local newspaper “Ray was at the game to see Sutton and, while he’s a young player we’ll keep an eye on, he’s not someone we’ll be trying to bring to the club in the foreseeable future.”
