Ms. Rabbatts, former Chief Executive of Lambeth council and Head of Education at Channel Four, is set to become Executive Deputy Chairman of both Millwall Holdings plc and the football club and will take over the running of the club day-to-day. She is expected to instigate a review of how things are currently run immediately and will assume responsibility for both the activities of the company and also the substantial property-based urban regeneration opportunity known as Sports City.
Stewart Till, meanwhile, will become Chairman of the football club. The current Chairman and CEO of United International Pictures, Till is supporter of the club since 1959.
"Our intention is to return to the Championship at the end of the forthcoming season," Till told the club's official site. "One of my first tasks - with Heather - is the recruitment of a new team manager to bring glory back to The Den."
PdeS will continue as Chairman of Millwall Holdings plc and as a board member of the subsidiary football club.
