Belgian hitman Bob Peeters is set to return to training at the end of the month after being out of action for over a year with a foot injury.

The 6' 5" striker was signed from Vitesse Arnhem by Mark McGhee and after an initial impact of three goals in three games, he went off the boil and began to struggle with the pace of the English game. It later emerged that he had been playing with an injury that he'd picked up while with the Dutch club.

Peeters, who has been capped twelve times by Belgium and played in the Champions League, is expected to return to full fitness in March.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Andy Marshall has returned to training after falling ill with a viral infection while winger Paul Ifill is expected to resume training next week.
