Speaking to Sky Sports, the player's agent, Barry McLean said "We will be sitting down with Jaime and his family to assess his situation over the next few weeks.
"Right now, Jaime is with the Canadian team in Florida and we won't deal with the situation until he has finished World Cup qualifying duty with the squad."
