PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month - March nominees

90min is the home of the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month Award for the 2021/22 & 2022/23 seasons.

Each month, you can vote for your favourite players across five divisions of English football, for the chance to win incredible prizes, including the opportunity to present the award to the winning player.

1. Jonson Clarke-Harris (Peterborough United)

It was an outstanding month in the Championship for Jonson Clarke-Harris as he claimed four goals to aid Peterborough's fight against relegation.

The 27-year-old claimed four goals, with two braces in two games, kicked off by a double against Stoke in a 2-2 draw.

Clarke-Harris followed that up with two goals in the Posh's excellent, and somewhat unexpected, 3-1 triumph at Queens Park Rangers.


2. Jake Cooper (Millwall)

Millwall and Jake Cooper both enjoyed a brilliant March, losing just once to put themselves firmly in promotion contention.

Cooper began the month by claiming the winning goal in the 1-0 victory at Reading.

The Lions defender then played a key part in the rest of Millwall's success during the month, bagging consecutive clean sheets against fellow play-off contenders Middlesbrough, Blackburn and Huddersfield.


3. Sander Berge (Sheffield United)

Sander Berge had a superb month for Sheffield United in March as they continued their excellent run of form and push for promotion back to the Premier League.

The Norwegian midfielder showed his class with three goals, with the first coming in the 4-1 success over Middlesbrough.

The 24-year-old also claimed the only goal of the game in their 4-1 loss to Coventry, while his third strike was in the 2-0 South Yorkshire derby win over Barnsley.

Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke is in the form of his career, and his star shone brightly again in March with three goals and two assists.

He began the month creating the equaliser in Bournemouth's draw with Peterborough before grabbing a goal in the 2-0 win over Derby.

That was followed up with the only goal of the game in the 1-1 draw with Reading, before Solanke finished the month in excellent style with a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win at promotion rivals Huddersfield.


5. Lewis Baker (Stoke City)

Stoke's January recruit Lewis Baker had a brilliant March, even though the Potters themselves failed to shine.

Playing five of the six games played in the month, Baker scored Stoke's only goal in their draw against Barnsley, and then netted in the 2-2 draw with Peterborough.

A third goal of the month followed in the defeat at Cardiff, with an assist also chalked up in Stoke's win over Millwall.


6. Karlan Grant (West Bromwich Albion)

Karlan Grant enjoyed himself during March, contributing in all four games he played for West Brom - games the Baggies were unbeaten in.

The 24-year-old began the month in fine style with both goals in their 2-0 success at Hull City, and he followed that up with a crucial strike in the 2-2 draw with Huddersfield.

An assist followed in the excellent 1-0 win over title favourite Fulham, with Grant rounding the month off with a goal in the 2-2 draw with Bristol City.
