Pidgeley gets his Cards

Lenny Pidgeley could be a Woking player by the end of the day if the Blue Square Premier side can reach a deal with Millwall.

The 24-year-old former Chelsea stopper endured a horrid season last term and recently had an unsuccessful trial with SPL side Motherwell. He is now only third choice at The Den having fallen behind David Forde and Preston Edwards.

"We're hoping to finalise this. He's young but has a good background," Woking director of football Colin Lippiatt told BBC Southern Counties Radio. "This signing will give us a more experienced spine to the side."
