The boyhood Lions fan, 34, arrived at The Den from Sheffield Wednesday in January and has now committed himself to the club until next summer.
"Everyone knows how thrilled I was to have the chance to play for Millwall and things could not have gone better for me," he told the club's official website.
"I've settled in with the other lads really well and to be involved in the promotion race going into the final month of the season is great for everyone here."
