Rae: Looking forward to clash
Millwall's forthcoming tour of Scotland will see the club make a return to their roots of sorts when they face Dundee at Dens Park on July 15.

The club were originally founded by a group of Dundee tinsmiths in the Mortons jam factory on the Isle of Dogs in 1885 and it seems fitting that the Scottish Division Club will be managed by a Millwall old boy when the two clubs meet in the summer.

Pars boss Alex Rae played over 250 games for The Lions during a six-years spell in the 1990s before moving onto Sunderland and many fans still hold the midfielder in high regard, despite his habit of scoring against us when he played for Wolverhampton Wanderers. And the feeling is mutual.

"It will be great to meet up with a few friends from my Millwall days," said Rae. "I thoroughly enjoyed my time down in London and have some great memories of the club. I might just have to get my boots on for that one and have a bit of a run-out at least. I'm really looking forward to it."

The tour also marks a return home for Lions boss Willie Donachie, who is also looking for to the game at Dens Park.

"Like Millwall, Dundee have a strong tradition of attracting working-class fans and they like to play entertaining football," siad Donachie.

"They'll be a good test for us at that stage in pre-season."
