Return to form needed

Donachie: Wants a return to winning ways
It had to come sometime, but Millwall manager Willie Donachie was still disappointed by his side's performance as they slipped to their first defeat under the former Scotland international.

The Lions were well beaten by a Swansea side described as the best in the division by the caretaker boss to end their recent run of three straight wins. But Donachie believes that if the players continue to show the same sort of form they had displayed before yesterday's game then The Lions will pull clear of the bottom.

"It had to come at some time," said Donachie. "It was too early as far as I'm concerned, but I knew it was going to be hard today.

"For the first goal, sometimes you get them, sometimes you don't. I believe they even themselves out but I believe it was a free kick on this occasion.

"In the second half we showed some passion and went for it, but it was too late. We've just got to get back to what we've been doing the last four games, keeping it simple and working for each other.

"Sometimes you've got to be brave and say they're a strong team with good players and we lost. They're the best team we've come up against, so we shouldn't be too upset."
