Roberts signs new deal

Andy Roberts put pen to paper last night and signed a new one-year deal with the Lions.

Midfielder Andy, who has made 32 starts for The Lions this season, is currently in his second spell with the club having originally progressed through the ranks in the early 90s.

Roberts, who recently celebrated the birth of his first child, signed a deal that will keep him with the club until the summer of 2005

Assistant boss Ray Wilkins said: "He's signed a new one-year deal and we're all delighted for him."
