Robinson appeal rejected

Millwall's appeal against the red card that captain Paul Robinson picked up during Saturday's defeat to Oldham has failed, with the skipper now serving a one match ban.

He'll miss tonight's Carling Cup clash against Northampton Town at The Den but will be back for this weekend's League One game against Southend United.

"Naturally I'm disappointed," Robinson told the club's official website. "It was a very hard decision but I'm confident the lads will put in a good performance this evening and we can progress through to the Second Round."

Andy Frampton is set to replace him in the starting line-up.
