The Lions' late bid for a place in the top six suffered a dent last week when they were beaten 2-1 at home to Coventry and their cause has not been helped by suspensions to strikers Steve Morison and Neil Harris and an injury to Kevin Lisbie.
Yet they host lowly Preston on Saturday lying just four points behind Leeds in sixth.
Defender Robinson said: "We are approaching each game with the intention of keeping our season alive so that when we travel to Oakwell to face Barnsley on the final day we still have something to play for."
