Former Swindon Town midfielder Sammy Igoe has finally become a Millwall player after signing a one-year deal at The Den today.

Igoe, who played with Steve Claridge at Reading, has impressed The Lions' boss in the club's two pre-season friendlies in recent weeks and been handed the number 16 shirt for the forthcoming season.

He will continue in midfield tonight as Millwall take on Southend United at Roots Hall alongside four trialists who'll be out to impress Claridge tonight.

Serbian keeper Bojan Isailovic, Ben Johnson and Argentinian Pablo Bastianini have joined former Scotland international Don Hutchison in tonight's squad against the League One side while former Hibernian defender Yannick Zambernardi played in last night's game against Lyn Oslo.
