Scannnell starts trial

As reported last week on Millwall Mad, Fisher Athletic winger Damien Scannell has joined The Lions, initially on trial with a view to a loan move from the Conference South side.

The youngster was handed his first start yesterday afternoon as the reserves took on Southampton at The Den and despite the 2-1 reverse, the winger impressed, playing the full 90 minutes.

It was a bad day for Maurice Ross, however, who limped off with yet another injury.
