Former Millwall boss Mark McGhee hasn't given up hope of landing striker Mark McGhee, despite a public statement by Dennis Wise saying that the lanky hitman isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

McGhee is still keen on taking the player back to the Withdean Stadium for another month on loan and hasn't ruled out signing McCammon on a permanent basis if a fee can be agreed.

“We need a target man badly," explained the Scot. "We need to get someone like Mark McCammon in again to lead the line.”
