Last year's Player of the Season hasn't started a game since November after picking up an injury a groin injury and has been unable to dislodge the in-form Whitbread since regaining his fitness. But with captain Paul Robinson suspended Shaw is now in-line for a recall and he can't wait.
"I'm looking forward to it," he said. "Zak and Paul have been fantastic and it's nice to see them doing well. I want to concentrate on playing, but that also means concentrating on the squad.
"It's a big game, but they are all big games, whether it's Port Vale at the bottom or Swansea at the top, they are all tough games."
