The 18-year-old striker, who can also play on the wing, has yet to make his first team debut for The Gunners but has appeared regulary with the reserves at the Emirates Stadium and will hopefully be the first of many to arrive at The Den today.
"Jay is a very promising young player," manager Willie Donachie told the club's official site. "Quick strong and aggressive.
"I'm very pleased that we've managed to bring Jay in and we will remain on the lookout for one or two more experienced players."
